I no longer work so I thought I would get online and create an online business!!- easy right?. I got back into online marketing 5 months ago- I also joined too many So-called get rich quick schemes promising the earth(’cause I knew better!!). Well, I didn’t know better.
I got seriously ill from trying to make things work and doing a bunch of wrong things. I was getting up at 5am and getting back to bed around 1am, not eating not taking breaks, and not sleeping. For me, there is now no alternative. No way is this easy – it’s a learning process by doing one thing at a time.
All the training I have received has only tried to enforce that we take consistent action each and every day and look after ourselves. I have now got back on the train and am rejuvenated. I had definitely lost my way and now I am back where I should be – at the beginning and doing things the right way.
I will be following the training and going back into the training whenever I need to do. I will be attending live training and putting right what I was doing wrong.
I like paid advertising so that is what I am going to concentrate on. A few years ago (2014) I tried the internet thing. I paid a bunch of $ to two guys that were, let’s just say, not as upfront as they said they were. I did a Google ads campaign that did not work so I left both programs, Google Ads, and my dream of an online business.
Now that I am back online I have come back to Google Ads to do some advertising only to find out that my account had been suspended (I did not even know it was still active let alone suspended). I have been on the internet and discovered it is quite difficult or nearly impossible to get a suspended account re-instated. I had apparently done something to violate Google Policies. So I duly sent GA a few emails with my version of events but got absolutely nowhere. I had one email back saying basically that my account was still suspended and no replies to my other rather curt emails. (which I can understand). Yesterday I tried one more time.
But this time I had joined Google MY Business and got online to find the same problem. However, I managed to get through to the sales team, as that’s the only way you will get to speak to a real person, I explained my situation but whilst they were unable to help me directly (because they were part of the sales team) they did send me a couple of links to try and get me sorted. I sent an email to the GA team with what I regarded as my last email attempt at resolving my account suspension.
I was totally honest in my email explaining the situation and hoped I would hear from them ASAP. Within 2 hours I had had a reply saying that my case was being referred to the policy guys and last night at about 10pm I had the news that my account has been re-activated and the suspension on my account was lifted.
To say I was over the moon is an understatement. So why am I telling you this- well it just confirms that we need to be doing things the right way, being diligent, Listen and learn, put all the right things in place, understand what your mentor is offering- do the training as many times as you need to to get clarity. But above all be honest with yourself. Do not take short cuts – it will end in pain- I really really do know about that🙂
if we put our minds to it anything is possible – even getting GA to reinstate a suspended account for which I thank the GA team and my mentor’s training. If you have or are in the position I was in then I hope this post will provide encouragement for you to not give up- you got this. Have a great day folks
Please comment and I will get back to you
